The Development Corporation of Abilene Commits $13,000 Matching Grant for the DCOA’s NEXTU Program at Wylie Independent School District

The Development Corporation of Abilene (DCOA) commits $13,000 to fund the Construction and Electrical Power Equipment through the DCOA’s NEXTU Program at Wylie Independent School District (Wylie ISD). The DCOA is committed to building the future Abilene. Workforce development is a key-path to creating Abilene’s future.

Powered by the DCOA, the NEXTU Program grows Abilene’s talent pipeline. Wylie ISD partners with the DCOA to offer the NEXTU Program to high school students. The DCOA provides scholarship dollars for students to obtain industry certifications and education opportunities as they prepare to enter Abilene’s workforce. The DCOA is committed to providing equipment through the NEXTU Program. The DCOA’s NEXTU Program ensures the future success of the students who are striving to live and work in Abilene.
